On 1 November, the Department of Health launched a national campaign, ‘Smokefree Generation’, urging smokers to quit.
The campaign features the children of smokers talking to camera about the worry and anguish that their parents smoking causes them. Smokers are encouraged to order a free NHS Quit Kit by texting KIT to 63818.
The campaign creative was initially run in autumn 2009, and was one of the most successful Smokefree campaigns to date. You can read about the 2009 campaign here.
The campaign will run nationally on TV, radio and video on demand until 4 December 2011.
You can view one of the campaign adverts below, or watch them all online on the Smokefree YouTube channel.
