A new smoking and pregnancy campaign has launched which highlights the fact that every cigarette smoked during pregnancy harms the unborn baby. The campaign communicates why it's so important for pregnant women who smoke to quit, and explains how they can get the free NHS support they need to stop, and stay stopped.

Smokefree England - One Year On

A new report has launched examining the impact of the smokefree law, one year on since it was introduced in England on 1 July 2007. Research amongst businesses and consumers clearly suggests that the nation has quickly adapted to, is benefiting from, and is showing growing support for the smokefree law in England.

A new advertising campaign has launched that will highlight the danger to parents that their smoking will dramatically increase their children's chances of becoming a smoker too. The campaign called 'Wanna be like you' consists of TV, interactive TV, radio, ambient, outdoor media, online advertising, press advertising, direct mail, PR and stakeholder communications.

'Get Off Cigarettes' with NHS support

A new advertising campaign has launched to explain to smokers how using NHS support can significantly improve their chances of quitting. The campaign, called 'getting off cigarettes' consists of tv, interactive tv, digital and press advertising; along with direct mail, PR and stakeholder communications.

'Send Off' your last packet of cigarettes with the NHS

A new advertising campaign has launched to help smokers find the best way for them to 'Send Off' their last ever packet of cigarettes. A lot of smokers will be using 1st July (the day nearly all enclosed public places and workplaces in England go smokefree) as a reason to quit, and the new NHS campaign aims to reassure smokers of the variety of free help available and encourage them to say goodbye to their habit for good in advance of that date.

Secondhand smoke: The "invisible killer"

A new advertising campaign launched on the 3 March highlighting the hidden dangers of secondhand smoke. The campaign aimed to demonstrate that even though up to 85% of secondhand smoke is invisible and odourless, it's just as harmful to those exposed to it.
