Client Leaflets

This section includes a range of artwork templates which can be easily adapted to include local contact information and logos. These materials have been piloted with a number of local NHS Stop Smoking Services with the most popular ones now available on the resource centre;

Appointment cards – send in the post after a phone call, or hand out at the first appointment to confirm the next session/s. Tests by GP surgeries have shown that by making clients actively involved in the process of setting an appointment, and by using appointment cards, the DNA rate can be reduced. Generic and pharmacy specific versions are available.

 

 

Welcome leaflet – provides a new client with a friendly introduction the stop smoking service and explains what to expect. Post out with appointment confirmation or hand out to new clients at their first drop-in session.

 

 

 

Top tips leaflet – this leaflet gives pointers for a successful quit and covers some common pitfalls and withdrawal symptoms. Give to clients who have set a quit date to reassure them that you understand what they are going through and are ready to help.
