Pharmacy & GP Branding

Many smokers are unaware that stop smoking support can be accessed from a network of pharmacies and primary care locations. To help increase awareness, a range of materials is available to signpost NHS Stop Smoking Services at the point where customers and patients are accessing health advice. This enables providers to encourage self-referrals direct to the pharmacy or practice team.

There is a range of materials for display in local pharmacies and GP surgeries – from wall posters to point of sale materials and shelf wobblers which have been designed to stand out in the busy retail environment.  These carry a simple message; ‘Quit Here’ and encourage customers or patients to ask their pharmacist, nurse or GP for more information. The presence of branding helps to signpost the in-store service and aims to encourage healthcare professionals to start more conversations about stopping smoking with registered smokers or customers who are buying nicotine replacement therapy.
