Brand Guidelines

The Smokefree brand was launched to both motivate smokers to quit with NHS support and to help local services and the NHS to present key messages about quitting consistently and effectively.

The brand was redeveloped in 2010 to make it easier for local campaign supporters to develop work in line with the new guidelines whilst having the flexibility to produce unique, localised work.

If you are a local service provider, commissioner or design agency working for one of our NHS partners, these guidelines will give you all the tools you need to create engaging campaign materials. They set out a complete guide to the refreshed Smokefree brand and include information on logo use, colours, typography, graphic panels, photography, illustrations, local branding and more.

Smokefree brand materials are free to use and available to anyone in the NHS/Government as well to partners and supporters of the campaign. If you have any questions about using the brand, email smokefreebrand@dh.gsi.gov.uk.

For the latest on NHS branding, see the NHS Brand Guidelines website: www.nhsidentity.nhs.uk.
